Mumbai: Whoever said an animation film is only for kids? You need to think again. In our industry an animation film is all about dreaming big to achieve things that were never achieved before! And this dream is wanting to get bigger and entertaining not just children but the whole family who goes to the theatres. ‘Hanuman Da Damdar’ promises to do just that… and more!

The coolest film to be releasing this summer, ‘Hanuman Da Damdar’ is about the life of our beloved Hanuman much before the tales we read of him in ‘Ramayana’. And if the makers have it their way, they are taking it upon themselves to make the first of their three-film lineup at R.A.T Films memorable.

The production house is the brainchild of Ruchi Narain, Ashutosh Shah and Taher Shabbir; the three are keeping the film tight under-wraps but we heard this one will be larger than life! Asserting our claim, Ruchi said, “Our aim was to make a larger-than-life film, which celebrates Indian stories and to also create our own superhero in a contemporary way. Hanuman, with quirky friends and loads of desi swag, will leave both kids and elders in splits."

Producer-director duo Taher and Ashutosh have worked on films like 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'Fitoor' and also directed biggies like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in commercials. Ashutosh enthuses, "Getting a huge star cast on board was beyond our dreams, but then, dreaming is the first step towards achieving your goals." Taher, a known name on TV who has played pivotal roles in films like Fan and the upcoming movie, 'Naam Shabana', agrees, adding, "The coolest and funniest stars have come on board to make this a real summer bonanza."

Wow! If that’s not huge, what is? Here’s to waiting anxiously for the grandest and the coolest Hanuman ever!
