Taapsee Pannu to essay a refugee in her next film 'Ghazi' opposite Rana Daggubati

Taapsee Pannu, we hear, will be essaying the role of a refugee in her next film Ghazi opposite Rana Daggubati. The role demands that she shed a good amount of body weight to look as frail as possible. So the actress is following an austere diet plan to make it happen.

This role is touted to be very different from what she has played on screen so far. She has had to do a fair amount of research to understand her character better and now she is concentrating on her appearance to look convincingly weak and feeble. Besides the diet, she is also following a strict workout regime.

Speaking about her efforts, Tapsee, when contacted, said, “I am required to look tortured and stressed, like someone who has gone through a lot of physical wear and tear. So I’m making sure I look like a refugee. I am eating just the right amount to make sure I weigh my minimum possible for that one month of shoot.”
