Salman Khan could not have received a better 54th birthday gift than the one his sister Arpita gave him. She gave birth to a baby girl, whom she and her husband Aayush Sharma have named Ayat upon Salim Khan’s suggestion.
The pleased maama (maternal uncle) says he is happy to share his big day with the little one. “Ab celebrations sath mein hoga. Maama aur chacha toh bann gaya, abhi baap banna baaki hai. (Now the celebrations will be together. I have become a maternal and paternal uncle, but I am yet to become a father,” he laughs. Speaking about the moment when he found out that he had a niece now, Salman reveals: “The moment I got up and checked my phone, I saw Ayat’s picture and she is the most beautiful girl. I tweeted about it. Now December 27 is her day. Ayat’s birthday coincides with maama Salman.”
