Mumbai: Pushpa Joshi, who was seen in Ajay Devgn starrer 'Raid' (2018) passed away on Tuesday. The actor had portrayed the role of antagonist Saurabh Shukla's mother in the Raj Kumar Gupta's directorial venture.
Pushpa ji got a lot of appreciation for her performance in 'Raid'. Mourning the death of a senior actor, director Raj Kumar Gupta wrote, "Very sad to hear about the passing away of Pushpa Joshi ji. One of the highlights of my directing career was watching you perform in RAID. You were a live wire on and off the sets. Wherever you are you will be smiling and spreading happiness Dadi ji. We will miss you. RIP.”

After Raid was released, audiences went gaga over Pushpa Joshi's character. They called her as ‘Swag wali dadi’.
