Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli gave fans a reason to smile. The couple shared photographs of their first Karva Chauth celebrations together. They fasted for the first time after their wedding last year, and needless to say, they looked totally in love. Together, they waited for the moon, and broke their fast, in what is an integral part of the Hindu festival. Each shared a photo on Instagram with adorable captions.
“My life. My universe. Karvachauth @AnushkaSharma,” wrote the cricketer with a photo of both of them together. Anushka also posted a similar photo saying, “My moon, my sun, my star, my everything Happy karva chauth to all.” The couple who is usually not that vocal on social media when it comes to the relationship, Anushka and Virat were thrilled about the festival. Anushka looked gorgeous in a yellow saree with a silver-gold gota border while Captain Kohli sported a black kurta with white embroidery and matched it with a white pyjama as they looked on in joy. Recently, when Virat became the fastest batsman to score 10,000 runs in ODIs, breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record, Anushka took to Instagram to celebrate his record. “What a man,” she wrote with a series of stories of her husband’s innings.
Anushka was also asked about being married to “the greatest batsman in the world,” some time ago, her reply showed how devoted to each other they are, “I am married to the greatest man in the world.”
