Did Ranbir ask makers to not invite Katrina for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's screening?

Mumbai: After a lot of drama and controversy, Karan Johar’s much awaited film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ hit the theatres on Friday. While Bollywood celebrities such as Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiran Rao and others were the first ones to watch it, Karan’s another good friend and Ranbir’s ex girlfriend Katrina Kaif was missing from the scene.

Just when everyone wondered why Katrina, who was recently often spotted hanging out with Karan, was nowhere to be seen at filmmaker’s movie screening, recent reports suggest that she wasn’t invited in the first place.

According to a report that appeared in DNA, Ranbir Kapoor asked the makers to not invite his ex lover for the screening.

A source was quoted saying, “Ranbir told his director not to invite her as it would make the atmosphere uncomfortable.” When Katrina heard of this, the actress was upset and decided to not show up for the screening at all. The actress is over Ranbir and just wants their film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ to hit the screens soon.
