Mumbai: The first trailer of John Abraham's 'Force 2' is here and it's nothing short of astounding.

The film, a sequel to Vipul Amrutlal Shah's Nishikant Kamat helmed 'Force,' has been helmed by Abhinay Deo.

The film has John playing a no-nonsense cop, still grieving the gruesome murder of his wife, five years down the line, a la 'John Wick,' alongside the phenomenally talented Tahir Raj Bhasin as his main nemesis, and the in-form Sonakshi Sinha, fresh from the success of 'Akira,' as his equal.

John, who bashes, smashes and annihilates anything coming his way, reminds you of Keanu Reeves, with his internalised anger and adequately and rightfully deadpan facial expressions.

The trailer has some very swift cinematography and some extremely raw action sequences.

Sonakshi, who plays a RAW officer in the film, partners with John, representing the Mumbai police, fresh on Tahir's trail.

Exciting, right?

Well, this is one seriously promising action film to look forward to. The genre has officially arrived, sans the unintentional hilarity normally associated with a Bollywood action film, we hope.
