A rumour doing the rounds insists that the Bachchan family is not happy with their bahu Aishwarya for doing intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
The love quadrangle featuring Aishwarya, Ranbir, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan apparently has scenes of “intense intimacy” between the couple playing a younger man and an older woman. Apparently the relationship between Aishwarya and Ranbir is inspired by Raakhee Gulzar and Rishi Kapoor in Ramesh Talwar’s Doosra Aadmi.
According to rumours in the industry the Bachchans were so peeved by the passionate scenes that they asked family-friend Karan Johar to edit them. But a source close to the Bachchans denies these rumours.
“They are a family of professional actors and very conscious of their responsibility towards the reputation of the family. No one needs to intervene in Aishwarya’s professional commitments. She knows what to do,” he said.
