Irrfan Khan’s motivation mantra
Irrfan Khan is an actor to reckon with. Apart from his astounding career trajectory, he’s been a source of dignified motivation through his recent battle with neuroendocrine tumour.
Now, back at work in London, shooting for Angrezi Medium — the sequel to Hindi Medium he’s been seen reading his scripts from his past films, during his free time. And those on the sets, were understandably curious.
We caught up with one of our sources in London to understand what this was all about. “Reading scripts helps him not only refresh his memory but also learn a little more about those stories. Irrfan feels reading his past scripts inspires him to go through the latest work he’s taken up,” source says.
Irrfan has an aptitude to understand and envisage a script much ahead, he adds. “Now that he’s been back and has resumed work, this kind of reading is motivating him. He feels this will help him give his best to all his forthcoming films,” he says.
Long ago while interacting with this publication, Irrfan had indeed talked about his love for always trying to find something new in his acting talent. “Because if I don’t bring in some freshness in my act, I will not feel motivated myself,” he had said then.
