Watch: Here's a peek into the life of Salman Khan's character Sultan

The video gives us a first hand account of Sultan's journey from childhood, to adulthood and finally Olympic glory.

With just a week to go before ‘Sultan’ hits theatres world wide on July 6, the makers have released a 5.34 minute video that gives fans a peek into the wrestler’s life. Ali Abbas Zafar gives up a peek into the ‘World of Sultan’ by interviewing his closest friends, teacher and wrestling coach.

The video that has been shot in Haryana, gives us a first hand account of Sultan’s journey from childhood, to adulthood and finally Olympic glory. From dishing about his naughty antics at school, to partnering up for satellite television service and finally, to realising his dream of becoming an Olympic wrestler, this video tells it all. The clip also sheds some light on his struggles with poverty while trying to earn his spot in the Olympics finals in Finland.

‘Sultan’ starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in leading roles, is set to hit theatres next Wednesday. Although not a biopic, the film takes inspiration from real life characters.
