After delivering a superlative performance in her last film Nil Battey Sannata, Swara Bhaskar is now poised to try her hand at a different medium — web series. It is an adult drama and will feature the actress and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles. Akshay was last seen in an intense role in Laal Rang. Danish Aslam, whose last box office outing was the Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan starrer Break Ke Baad, will be helming the series.
When contacted, Danish confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I am directing a web series for Voot. It is an adult drama and will feature Swara and Akshay. The shoot will start in July in Mumbai. I can’t reveal any more details about it. Please speak to the production house for more information.”
Aslam also said that he's currently working on his next feature film as well. We tried to contact Swara but the actress remained unavailable for comment.
