Saif Ali Khan is likely to stay away from guns for a while. Last weekend, while shooting for his next film Kala Kaandi, Saif severely hurt his thumb while fiddling with a gun. He was immediately rushed to a hospital and it took a minor surgery to fix the finger.
Said a source from the unit, “Saif was holding the pistol when blood suddenly spurted from his thumb. He was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Saturday, and discharged on Monday after surgery.” Wife Kareena was at his side throughout the hospital stay. The actor is no stranger to on-set accidents. In April he hurt his hand while shooting Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon. He was also injured five years ago while shooting for his home production, Agent Vinod.
