Fishy! Irrfan Khan starrer Blackmail has Nawazuddin Siddiqui's CDR case connect

Mumbai: Irrfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were co-stars during ‘The Lunchbox’. Post that movie, the two were termed to be rivals, who wouldn’t like talking about each other.

Nobody knows what exactly led to their rivalry but it appeared that the two considered each other their biggest competitors.

But what comes as a surprise is that Irrfan Khan’s upcoming release ‘Blackmail’ has a direct Nawazuddin Siddiqui connect.

In ‘Blackmail’, there is a scene which deals with the CDR case, which Nawaz has been accused of.

A source told DNA, "Irrfan's character comes in contact with a detective to procure call data records, in one part of the film. The striking similarity the film has to a real life scenario is baffling."

Also starring Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall and Gajraj Rao, ‘Blackmail’ is slated to release on 6th April.
