Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone to do a love story with Sanjay Leela Bhansali?

This might be Padukone's fourth film with director Bhansali after 'Ramleela', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmavati'.

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika have an intense chemistry on-screen and it is quite evident from the love poured on the jodi by the audience. The popular Bollywood jodi was last seen in Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year' (2014).

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan have found a right script to collaborate together. They also might start working on this film next year. Bhansali is planning to work on the film after ‘Padmavati’ gets released.

 

It is also reported that Bhansali has approached his favourite actress Deepika Padukone to play the lead role in it.

Khan and Bhansali have worked together in Devdas (2002), and since then have been waiting to work again with each other. Reportedly, Bhansali wanted Khan to do his another film inspired by the life of famous poet Sahir Ludhianvi. However, that project didn’t materialise.

It would be definitely interesting to see the terrific trio working in a grand film.

Shah Rukh currently busy shooting for Aanand L Rai's next co-starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The yet untitled film is slated for Christmas 2018 release.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh starrer period film 'Padmavati', is yet to get a new release date. The film is not yet been certified by the CBFC board. It was reported that SLB's 'Padmavati' will be reviewed not only by the CBFC members but also historians.
