Actress Karisma Kapoor, who’s maintained quite a low profile of late, recently walked the ramp in a bridal avatar as the showstopper for Shantanu Goenka Couture at The Wedding Junction Show in Mumbai.
Having pulled off the look with utmost style, she reveals that she’s always scared to walk the ramp. “As actors, we get multiple takes in our films. But on the ramp, there’s just one take and it has to be perfect. You definitely mustn’t trip and fall, and I am wearing such a heavy look, so I’ve been nervous.”
The actress looks stunning in a green embroidered lehenga-choli teamed with an orange silk dupatta and dramatic Rajasthan-inspired jewellery. She says, “This outfit reminds me of my look in Zubeida, which also had a Rajasthani touch to it.”
Karisma also reveals this year’s Diwali celebrations won’t be a grand affair for the Kapoors. “Our celebrations will be very low key because my dadi just passed away. So it will only be with family,” she says.
