Priyanka gives perfect reply when asked if she knew English before coming to US
Priyanka Chopra created headlines with her appearance on the popular ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’, where the actress was seen giggling and answering questions and having tequila shots. However, a section of media did feel that the some of the comments Ellen made towards Priyanka were slightly rude.
Priyanka also featured on another chat show this week, Chelsea Handler’s show and here she was asked if she knew English before coming to the United States of America. The actress was keen on breaking myths about Indians and their fluency about English and she just had the perfect reply. Priyanka asserted, “Yes. Another fact. 10 per cent of India speaks English. 1.3 million people, which is more than most nations, by sheer population. So when you go to India you’ll encounter most people that speak English.”
Priyanka busted myths by being one of the few Indian actors to succeed internationally and she continues to do so with these answers.
