Ravikanth Perepu’s 2016 Telugu blockbuster Kshanam, the story of an NRI who returns to India to help his ex-lover find her kidnapped daughter, is now being remade in Hindi.

The rights for the mystery thriller’s  remake were bought early last  year by producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Interestingly, Sajid was keen to adapt the film to suit his pal Salman Khan’s image, but the latter’s dates couldn’t be worked out. And now, the young Tiger Shroff has stepped into Salman’s shoes!

Titled Baaghi 2, the Hindi remake is being directed by choreographer Ahmed Khan.

Interestingly, Tiger and Disha Patani, who are believed to be a real life couple, will play the estranged couple in the remake. “In Baaghi 2, Disha has left Tiger and married someone else and even has a  child,” says  a source.

While the remake will be similar to the original, what Adivi Sesh couldn’t do in Kshanam, and Tiger will do aplenty now, is dance. In fact, choreographer-director Ahmed Khan promises to give Tiger some of the meanest dance floor moves ever.
