Gold's Sunny remembers chawl days, support system' Vicky; turns brave officer again?

The Kaushal family might be successful in their own ways today, with the latest addition being the actor bagging all praises for his debut movie ‘Gold’, Sunny Kaushal.

But there was a time when as a child he saw poverty and didn’t even get to meet his father that often due to Sham ji’s busy schedule.

Recollecting the times to Mid-Day, he said, "Vicky and I stayed in a small 10-by-10 chawl in Malad. When we were young, we've seen dad being out of work for weeks, and, soon later, away from home for work for months. We are conditioned to surviving against all odds. Vicky is my support system. My family is the fuel that drives me. My brother has no expectations from me. He understands that we are individuals fighting our own battles."

Sunny, after playing a brave officer in ‘Gold’, might once again get into that role for his upcoming web show which will be directed by Kabir Khan.

The actor revealed, "After this, I have Kabir Khan's web show, Forgotten Army in the pipeline. That will be out next year."

Kabir Khan is also set to show cricketer Kapil Dev’s 1983 World Cup journey through his grand project 83’ starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role.
