Forget beating Deepika to be highest-paid, Priyanka doing Salman's Bharat for free?

Until now, it was believed that the actress was being paid a pretty penny for the film.

Reports of Priyanka Chopra being paid a whopping Rs 12 crore to make her Bollywood comeback with Bharat seem to be completely untrue. According to a source close to the film, the actress has not charged a single rupee.
“She has generously offered to do the film for free as it is being directed by her friend Ali Abbas Zafar. As far as reports of her being paid Rs 12 crore are concerned, they may be attempts at one-upping Deepika Padukone, whose marketing team, since the release of Padmavaat, has been claiming that she is the highest paid actress in Bollywood. The truth is, even Deepika isn’t getting that kind of money after Padmaavat,” a source says.
