Mumbai: After his last film Zero failed badly at the box office, Aanand L. Rai is now treading cautiously. And, now we hear that the filmmaker is planning a series of films six, to be exact which will be launched under his banner.
“Yes, Aanandji will be producing six films under the banner of Colour Yellow Productions and he has signed up with a few directors as well. Recently, he even registered a spate of titles with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association to ensure that the announcements can be made in due course.
Some of these films are medium to large budget movies and the others are smaller projects. Aanandji has heard each script intently and has been working with the directors and writers to make sure that it is a story well told,” says a source close to the development of the film.
Aanand had last produced Manmarziyaan for Anurag Kashyap, which was an above average grosser, and had also backed Tumbbad, which has become a cult classic.
