By now, everyone knows about Aamir Khan’s growing proximity to Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh. The young actress, who played his daughter in the blockbuster film, is now cast as one of his leading ladies in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs Of Hindostan. And it looks like Fatima’s warm rapport with her mentor has got the film’s other leading lady, Katrina Kaif, feeling insecure about her own role.
Says a source close to the project, “The heroines never had much to do in this plot. It was always Aamir Khan and Mr. Bachchan’s film. Katrina decided to come on board because of her longstanding relationship with Yash Raj Films and Aditya Chopra. But seeing the rapidly-developing friendship between Aamir and Fatima, Katrina is somewhat perturbed.”
Apparently, Katrina recently met Aditya to express her misgivings in this regard, following which the latter assured her that her role would not be tampered with. But knowing Aamir and his clout on the set, we wonder whether Katrina can be at peace with the situation.
