Disha recollects being stalked for two days; stalker creating havoc in her hotel

Mumbai: There is no denying that Disha Patani has a huge fan base which seems to be growing with each passing day. While the actress is overwhelmed with joy for the love and adulation she has received so far, there is one particular fan (read ‘stalker’) that left the lovely Disha shaken.

It so happened that Disha had flown down to Delhi for a brand shoot when a not-so-regular fan followed her around over a period of days. Wherever she went, the stalker would go along- from set to shopping mall to movie theatre and then finally her hotel. In the beginning, Disha took it lightly thinking he is one of her fans and paid no heed to his actions till the time he showed up at her hotel and fought with hotel staff for not letting him meet her.

The actress’s manager had to jump to her rescue who was prompt in taking action and the stalker was finally thrown out of the hotel. One of Disha’s team member told a daily, “Eventually, the hotel bouncers were called and the man was thrown out of the premises. The manager was prompt in taking action.”

Disha, upon learning about the kind of havoc her stalker had created at the hotel, was shocked and shaken. Recollecting the horrific incident, Disha reportedly said, “I am relieved that the episode is over. I am deeply overwhelmed by the love of fans. When I got to know about it, I was in for a shock. It was an unpleasant experience."

While the actress did not file an FIR against him, she has now hired a bodyguard who will be with her 24*7.
