Kangana Ranaut bags her 3rd National Film Award
New Delhi: The 63rd National Film Awards are back and they mark special celebrations for Kangana Ranaut as she has been awarded with the Best Actress title for the second time in a row.
The 29-year-old actress has bagged the award for her film ' Tanu Weds Manu.'
Giving her warm wishes to Kangana, actress Swara Bhaskar took to her Twitter handle and wrote, "Many congrats 2 #KanganaRanaut on #NationalAward for #TanuWedsManuReturns !!! richly deserved."
Meanwhile, Sophie Choudry wrote, "Congrats my fave @SrBachchan , #Kangana , #SanjayLeelaBhansali and the awesm team of #Baahubali for winning this year's #NationalAwards."
From the main set of awards, S S Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' has won for Best Film, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Best Director for his film 'Bajirao Mastani' and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan for won Best Actor for 'Piku.'
Expressing his excitement over the same, filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, "So proud to be associated with #Baahubali ...the national award validation for truly the best film of the year! @ssrajamouli."
Over all Kangana has won three national awards, one for her film 'Queen' (2015) and other for the Priyanka Chopra starrer 'Fashion' (2010).
