Watch: Maaya's depiction of bondage sex is a mighty bold move and exudes lust!

Mumbai: The sexual act that involves a dominant and a submissive partner, also known as Bondage Domination Sadism and Masochism (BDSM), is the subject of seasoned director Vikram Bhatt’s new web series ‘Maaya’. The trailer of the series gives us a sneak peek into the grey world of bondage sexual encounters where a sex slave is often tied and tortured by the more dominant participant.

While the idea of it may sound crass and disgusting to some, Bhatt has actually done a commendable job with it. To take an adult, tabooed subject like this as the central theme and projecting it the way it is, in a country that is growing highly impatient with each passing day, Bhatt deserves a standing ovation.

The television siren Shama Sikander is a complete temptress and essays the role of a submissive sex slave to perfection. She is raunchy, a sex pot, who is caught between love and her dark fantasy to indulge in pain-inflicting sexual encounters. Will lust overpower lust? Seems like!

Shama’s sex master, played by model-turned-actor Vipul Gupta, is ruthless when it comes to pleasing the lady on bed. Leashes, spanking and some more leashes define this man and Shama seems to be enjoying it all till destiny takes a drastic turn.

The self-confessed sex addict falls prey to amnesia and in a turn of events, her husband learns about her bondage adventure, who, by the way, is also cheating on her without exhibiting even an iota of guilt.

Execution of wild fantasies that people may have in their minds finds an outlet through this series, the barely-there dialogues could have been dubbed by a better artist. All in all, we will have to give it to Vikram Bhatt for this almost believable portrayal of erotica on digital world.
