Mumbai: Akshay Kumar’s courtroom comedy drama, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ has been given a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The satirical film, helmed by Subhash Kapoor, that supposedly gives references to the legal system has been passed without any cuts.

“The film that was shown to censor board had no controversial statements on the legal system. Even the reference to the show company Bata was removed before the film was brought to the censor board. The version of film shown to the censor board had nothing even remotely controversial about it,” a daily quoted a source close to the development.

‘Jolly LLB 2’ also stars Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on February 10.
