BO day 3: SRK's Raees picks up speed while Hrithik's Kaabil barely manages to survive

Mumbai: After a lot of anticipation, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ has finally hit the theatres. While Hrithik Roshan is being applauded for his brilliant performance, the film hasn’t quite managed to make it big at the box office.

Despite good reviews, the film opened to a poor start at the box office and only managed to mint Rs 8 crore approximately, while on the other, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ opened to pretty decent start as it earned Rs 20.25 crore approximately.

While on Thursday, ‘Kaabil’ picked up speed by earning Rs 15.50 crore approximately against ‘Raees’, which collected Rs 26.25 crore approximately.

No both the films’ three day collections are out and there surely is a drastic gap between Hrithik and Shah Rukh’s films.

Adding up Friday’s collections, ‘Raees’ stands firmly with total earning of Rs 59.50 approx, whereas Kaabil has so far only managed to mint Rs 31 crore approximately at the box office.
