Would love to do Manisha Koirala's role from Dil Se: Anushka Sharma

Mumbai: Anushka Sharma has been a part of some of the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood with the biggest of stars, including the Khan triumvirate.

The actress, whose last two films, however, have been box-office debacles, has some interesting projects lined-up, including her home production ‘Pari’.

The actress, like any other, also harbours hopes of remaking some of the most cherished of films featuring themselves. Anushka is no different.

She recently revealed that the one role she would love to play is Manisha Koirala’s from ‘Dil Se’.

“I love that movie. I think it should be remade in contemporary times and I should do Manisha Koirala’s part. I love that character and the way she played it was outstanding,” Anushka was quoted by DNA as saying.

Well, how about Ranbir Kapoor to replace Shah Rukh Khan, in that case?

Incidentally, Anushka Sharma was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's 'Jab Harry Met Sejal,' co-starring Shah Rukh himself.
