Ranbir's popular 'Iktarfa' dialogue from ADHM to be mouthed by SRK in the film?
Mumbai: One of the best things about the trailer of Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' was a heartbroken Ranbir Kapoor ranting about unrequited love.
"Ek tarfa pyaar ki taaqat hi kuch aur hoti hai ... Auron ke rishton ki tarah yeh do logon mein nahi batti ... Sirf mera haq hai ispe," said his voice brimming with heartbreak as he turns his back to Anushka Sharma on her wedding night.
The dialogue instantly clicked and has a loyal recall value today. But turns out Ranbir isn't really the one who'll be seen speaking the lines in the film.
Karan Johar's controversy-laden romantic drama, which also stars Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan, has a not so secret cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.
And if reports are to be believed, the line will be mouthed by him in the film. Now, since it's common knowledge that no one can belt out those hard-hitting romantic lines like Shah Rukh Khan can with his inimitable baritone.
Karan, who's not known to do films without SRK, had broken the pattern with 'Student of the Year,' but he got his self-confessed mentor to play a crucial cameo in the highly anticipated film.
With this new titbit coming our way, we have all the more reason to watch the film.
