Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra, the sport that she is, was warm and entertaining at ‘The Ellen’s Show’ and got along really with the host. Ellen not only made her down tequila shot but also questioned the fact that she won Miss World with ‘that hand wave’. DeGeneres compared her wave to ‘unscrewing of a light bulb’.
PeeCee’s fans, who are huge in number, did not like the rather rude jokes of Ellen and felt that she had taken Priyanka ‘for granted’.
So, Ellen was talking about how Hollywood is mesmerised with her beauty and talent.
She said, “People were so excited because you are beautiful and can act…”, to which Chopra replied 'that doesn’t happen'.
This one comment of Priyanka, which was more of a joke, irked the host and she hit back at her saying, “It does happen often, happens all the time as a matter of fact. I am just complimenting you like I should."
While Priyanka took everything as joke and was seen giggling all along, her fans were upset with Ellen for being rude and mean to their favourite star. Understandable!
