First guests: SRK and Alia Bhatt bond with Karan Johar over Koffee

Mumbai: The fifth season of Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ is all set to be launched on 6 November. And Karan Johar’s close friend Shah Rukh Khan and his ‘Student of the Year’ actor Alia Bhatt are all set to be the first guests on the show. The two actors, who share screen space in Karan’s production ‘Dear Zindagi’, shot for the episode with Karan and Shah Rukh later shared on Twitter a selfie of the trio.

While the friendship between Karan and Shah Rukh is well known, and the superstar had made an appearance on the show multiple times, he was conspicuous by his absence last season, leading to reports of their friendship souring. But this selfie just makes up for his miss last time.

There could not be any better way to kick off the season and we hope to see the celebrities having the best of fun, while entertaining viewers with some sensational statements.
