Alia Bhatt in high spirits

Despite the setback Alia suffered due to Inshallah being canned, the actress is keen to stay positive.

Alia Bhatt is trying to stay positive after the setback she had with Inshallah, and the good news of Gully Boy heading to the Oscars has certainly lifted her spirits.

“It is important to stay positive and I want to only share the love and get love, no matter how bad my day is going,” says Alia, adding, “You should not take yourself so seriously. Things that are going to happen in a minute don’t happen in a minute. The constant is that there is change.”

Continuing on the positive note, the Sadak 2 actress says, “I am happy that Gully Boy was selected and nominated from India for the Oscars. The film has had a long life even after its theatrical release. It was screened and won awards at Melbourne and Japan. The whole team is ecstatic.”

Another positive moment was her Brahmastra co-star Amitabh Bachchan being announced as the Dadasaheb Phalke award recipient this year. “I have just wrapped working with him in Brahmastra and it has been an absolute pleasure working with him. He behaves so humbly even after being such a legend,” she concludes.
