Filmmaker Aanand L Rai has decided to strike a partnership with his Zero actor Shah Rukh Khan to produce several out-of-the-box films over the next five years.
Says a source close to the development, “Aanand became very close to Shah Rukh Khan while directing him in Zero. Now, the two of them are ready to put their heads together to produce a slew of projects. Shah Rukh loves the kind of films that Aanand has been producing, including Newton, Mukkabaaz, Shubh Mangal Savdhan and Manmarziyaan, and he is ready to take their partnership to the next level.”
We’re excited to see what projects come out of this collaboration. Meanwhile, Zero is slated for release later this year.
