Watch: MS Dhoni says he still is a small town boy at heart

MS' biopic, starring Sushant Singh Rajput as the eponymous cricketer, releases on September 30.

Mumbai: MS Dhoni has been touring the country promoting his upcoming biopic with reel alter-ego Sushant Singh Rajput.

'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story,' one of the most eagerly awaited films in recent times, has been helmed by Neeraj Pandey.

MS, the quintessential Ranchi boy that he is, in a video snippet that released on Monday, can be seen raving about his hometown.

The cricketing heartthrob reiterates that he can never move out of his hometown and would always want to be lost in its charm.

"I'm more of a small-town boy. There are few things you can do in a small city. Particularly, you can get outside 15 times in a day, which if you're living in Mumbai, you can't even think about," he confesses.

Sushant himself confessed that through the course of the production of the biopic, he himself grew fond of Ranchi and thought of it as home for a good 18 months.

'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story,' also starring Kiara Advani and Disha Patani, releases on September 30.
