Shah Rukh, Hrithik sing praises of Shekhar Kapur's daughter Kaveri's debut single

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur’s only daughter Kaveri, 15, has released her debut single ‘Did You Know’ online. The teenager, who is the daughter of filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, will be pursuing a career in singing and song writing.

Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar and Abhishek Bachchan, have joined the chorus to sing praises of the talented young singer.

Kaveri’s song was composed and sung when she was just 11 years old. The song however was released online only last Friday, and has already garnered in over 300,000 views on YouTube.

Kaveri will mark her Bollywood singing debut in a Karan Johar production. When asked about the inspiration behind her music she says, “Writing and singing are the only things I think I will never get bored of. I feel like music is the only thing that makes sense to me. My song writing is largely inspired by the situations and people around me. A lot of my songs talk about very exaggerated versions of personal experiences.”
