Actress Mrinmai Kolwalkar makes it big in films, web series and TV shows

Mumbai: Popular actress Mrinmai Kolwalkar was born and brought up in Pune. While in college she participated in beauty pageants & won couple of titles & her journey of modelling started. She enjoyed doing Fashion shows & did print ads for reputed brands she had never thought of becoming an actor until she was signed by a known director Alok Shrivastava for Marathi film 'Miss Match' starring Bhushan Pradhan & Uday Tikekar. She played a role of a modern NRI girl who is studying in Pune.

After her debut film she acted in 'Kulfi Kumar Bajewala' on star plus again essayed a role of a modern glamourous girl. Mrinmai was also a part of Web series of Alt Balaji called 'Puncchbeat' she played the role of a sensuous teacher (on lines of Sushmita Sen from Main Hoon Na) was appreciated for her looks & style. Then as destiny can have it she was signed by renowned director in his Hindi film 'Endcounter' starring Prashant Narayanan, Abhimanyu singh, Ranjeet, Uday Tikekar, Anupam Shyam. She played a role of a novelist in the crime thriller.

She was noticed & appreciated for her acting skills in the film. Working with an expert director & actors was the highest point of her career. After acting in all 3 mediums Films, television shows & web series, the actress says medium doesn't matter. Acting is what she loves & she is all set to work hard & make her mark in the industry.
