Mumbai: Clash of superstars is a common occurrence in the showbiz business and Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn are no exception. After sharing the same release date back in 2012, when both SRK’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and Ajay’s ‘Son of Sardaar’ released on November 13- the actors’ relationship was believed to have turned sour. But the news is that King Khan and Ajay have agreed to release their trailers together, attached to Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’.
The alleged tiff happened five years ago and the duo seems to have moved on since. The latest buzz is that Salman’s production house was approached by both the stars and trailers of their respective films, SRK’s ‘The Ring’ opposite Anushka Sharma and Ajay’s ‘Baadshaho’ with Esha Gupta, are mostly likely to get attached to Salman’s ‘Tubelight’.
In fact, CEO of Salman’s production house, Amar Butala, has confirmed this news.
While Shah Rukh’s trailer will be ready by the time Salman releases his, director of ‘Baadshaho’ Milan Lutharia still has a lot of shooting left. A source told Mid-day, “Imtiaz’s trailer will be ready but Milan Lutharia still has a massive chunk of his film to shoot before a trailer can be cut. We will attach the trailer we recieve first.” The source further added, “Tubelight is a big holiday release. It is customary to attach multiple trailers with such films. We will be to accomodate both (trailers) if the stars agree with the arrangement.”
Whether the trailer bit happens or not, these superstars burying the hatchet is big news in itself.
Salman Khan’s Tubelight is slated to release on June 23....
