Bollywood salutes Indian Air Force

The film industry applauds the surgical strike on terror camps across LoC during tuesday's wee hours.

Indian Air Force conducted an air strike on Jaish-E-Mohammad training camps in Balakot region of Pakistan. The attack was in response to the terrorist attack in Pulwama on February 14 when 49 CRPF jawans were martyred. The Ministry of External Affairs also confirmed that they had reliable evidence that many more attacks were in various stages of planning. Following the surgical strike, several Indian celebrities saluted the efforts of the Indian Air Force.

Kangana Ranaut, who in the past has been vocal about taking action against terrorism and the countries harbouring terrorists, said, “We salute Indian Air Force for striking back like true heroes, and thank Honourable Prime Minister for taking decisive actions, our fight against terrorism has begun(sic).” The actress was all praise for Prime Minister for taking such a decisive action post the Pulwama attack which has sent out a loud and clear message to the world. Several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media accounts to salute the action.

Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Namaskar karte hai(sic)” in Hindi. TV and film producer Ekta Kapoor retweeted a tweet about the surgical attacks and wrote, “Yayyyyyy!!! May d force be with the Indian Forces (sic)!”

Actor Akshay Kumar, who has been part of several patriotic themed films tweeted, “Proud of our #IndianAirForce fighters for destroying terror camps! Quiet no more! #IndiaStrikesBack (sic).”

Total Dhamaal star Ajay Devgn tweeted with enthusiasm, “Mess with the best, die like the rest. Salute #IndianAirForce.@narendramodi (sic).”

Anupam Kher, too praised the Prime Minister and tweeted,“Today will be a good day to start saluting Prime Minister@narendramodi too (sic).”

Actor Paresh Rawal who played the character of Ajit Doval, national security advisor to the Prime Minister, in recently released movie Uri: The Surgical Strike, said, “A truly beautiful good morning. Thanks @narendramodi sir and bravehearts of our army. Jai Ho. (sic)”
