The sound of wedding bells are getting louder as Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas start the preparations for their wedding at Umaid Bhavan in Jodhpur. After the Thanksgiving dinner with friends and close relatives, the couple also ticked off the process of sending invites in the Capital from their To-Do list. “They plan to hand out invites personally, to guests for their wedding on December 2 and 3,” said a source.
Following the footsteps of the DeepVeer, Priyanka and Nick will also have two wedding ceremonies according to both Hindu and Christian traditions. “The couple also have a few song and dance programmes planned during the wedding and shaaadi ke laddoos will possibly be replaced by macaroons from France,” divulges our source.
The look of love is apparent from the constant smiling faces of PeeCee and Nick, and we can sense the excitement ahead of the big day, as the preparations are kept away from the eyes of media. The couple have also booked a chopper to evade the paparazzi as they land at the palace to ensure that they are not followed. How much of it can be kept a secret is still a question, as some of paps have also started using drones to click pictures and videos of the upcoming wedding.
Priyanka will shoot till November 26 only, for the film The Sky is Pink. She then proceeds to Jodhpur with Nick Jonas to oversee her wedding preparations, said a source.
The wedding festivities will stretch into three full days, with all the pomp and pageantry of a celebrity wedding in tow. Thereafter, the actress will head for a long honeymoon with Nick to an undisclosed location. “She will be re-joining the crew of The Sky Is Pink only on December 17 for the last schedule,” says the source, hinting at the long honeymoon period chalked out for the newly-weds.
