Actress Asin and Rahul Sharma, who got married last year, were blessed with a baby girl on Tuesday. In an official statement, the couple said, “We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today. The last nine months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our well-wishers and everyone, who has been part of our journey for all their love and support. It is the best birthday present I could ever ask for!”
Asin who turns a year older on October 26th is glad to share her birthday month with her darling daughter. It is known that 2.0 star Akshay Kumar was instrumental in bringing Asin and Rahul Sharma together in wedlock. The actor, who worked with Asin in Khiladi 786, reportedly flew to Kochi on Tuesday, and shared a picture with Asin’s baby girl on Twitter and wrote, “One joy which is completely unmatched...congratulations to me dearest friends Asin and Rahul Sharma on the arrival of their little angel.”
The couple tied the knot on Jan 19th, 2016 in a Christian wedding ceremony followed by Hindu rituals near Delhi.
