Watch: Dwayne Johnson to croon for Disney's animated feature film Moana

You're Welcome,' from the film is out and it's been performed by none other than Dwayne Johnson.

Mumbai: Disney’s next big musical after the Oscar winning ‘Frozen,’ ‘Moana,’ will release in India on 2nd December, featuring music from Lin-Manuel Miranda.

And the first song, ‘You’re Welcome,’ from the film is out and it’s been performed by none other than Dwayne Johnson.

The song, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, has already been catching up with people.

For centuries, the greatest sailors in the world masterfully navigated the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, 3000 years ago, their voyages stopped for a millennium – and no one knows exactly why.

‘Moana’ is a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who is inspired to leave the safety and security of her island on a daring journey to save her people.

Inexplicably drawn to the ocean, Moana, voiced by AuliÊ»i Cravalho, convinces the mighty demigod Maui, who’s been voiced by Dwayne, to join her mission, and he reluctantly helps her become a wayfinder like her ancestors who sailed before her.

Together, they voyage across the open ocean on an action-packed adventure, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfils her quest and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.

Directed by the renowned filmmaking duo Ron Clements-John Musker and produced by Osnat Shurer, the film features music from Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa‘i.
