For a few months now, there have been speculations about Akshay Kumar being part of Mary Kom director Omung Kumar’s next film titled Five. A love story and thriller, it was believed to feature Akki playing five different characters. The film is scheduled to be shot next year, but turns out the actor hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet, despite meetings with the filmmaker.
Informs a source, “Akshay and Omung have discussed the project at length, but Akshay hasn’t given the film a final nod yet. Akshay does three or four films every year and this was expected to be part of his kitty next year, but it doesn’t seem likely right now. Omung, however, is definitely going ahead with the film. The team has some time before locking in the cast, and they’ll probably do so sometime soon.”
