With godfathers like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar to boast of, Mouni Roy couldn’t be happier. Rumour has it that even before the release of her debut film, Gold, the actress has already bagged another project — a film titled Made In China opposite Rajkumar Rao.
Mouni is lucky to have the support of not one, but two of the industry’s big-wigs. Both Salman and Akshay are known to help new comers in the film industry, and this time, they’ve both decided to help Mouni.
According to sources, the actress was able to land special appearances in the films Runn and Tum Bin 2 only because of Akshay Kumar’s patronage. Now, she’s all set to make her debut opposite him. Akshay recently shared a poster of Gold’s star cast on Twitter, and Mouni is said to play a pivotal role in the film.
Reports suggest that Mouni’s second film — Brahmastra, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is also ready for release. And rumour has it that Salman Khan has decided to cast her in the much-awaited Dabangg 3.
At present, people can’t stop talking about her sexy dance performance to foot-tapping numbers at the IIFA Awards. Looks like 2018 is going to be a good year for the actress....
