Aspiring actors Jhanvi and Ishaan give look test for Fault in Our Stars remake

Mumbai: A lot has been said and written about megastar Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor’s debut film. While it is confirmed that she will launch her film career with Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions, we just don’t know the name of the movie yet.

As per reports, she is supposed to play the female lead in the sequel of 2012 hit film ‘Student of The Year’. But some other stories suggest that she will be seen in the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’, the official rights of which has been bought by team Dharma.

Now, a fresh report by a leading tabloid claims that Jhanvi and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter are giving look tests for the remake of Hollywood tearjerker ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.

Although Ishaan has already debuted with internationally acclaimed director Majid Majidi in to-release film ‘Beyond the Clouds’, this Karan Johar film will mark his Bollywood debut.

Director Shashank Khaitan, of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ fame, will reportedly helm the film. The look tests these star kids, which happened over the weekend, have left the makers mesmerised.

Initially, it was Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan who was supposed to star in the film but since things did not work out, she moved on to ace director Abhishek Kapoor and will be seen in his next ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
