Imran Khan’s debut as an actor was smooth as silk with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which was a hit of epic proportion when it came out back in 2008, especially considering that it had no A-listers at the time. However, the actor’s first venture into direction promises to be a much bumpier ride as it is already facing a few major delays.
A source reveals, “There are major changes being made in the script, which have kept Imran waiting for his directorial venture. He also met a lot of actors he wants to cast but no one is finalised yet.”
Elaborating on Imran’s first attempt at direction, the source close to the actor and now director adds, “The actor has been planning on directing something for a long time. It’s an interesting script, but he will not be acting in it.”
