Sanjay Dutt walks free, we follow his trail

It was a packed day for Sanjay Dutt after he stepped out of the Yerwada Jail on Thursday morning. Presenting a timeline of his trail:

The day before his release was a normal one for Sanjay Dutt at the Yerwada Jail in Pune. On Wednesday morning, the actor had asked for a needle and thread to sew his jail uniform that had a rip. It was also his last day at the prison radio station where he would entertain his listeners (fellow inmates), by reciting film dialogues and taking song requests.

The programme was titled Aap Ki Farmaish and on his last day, it was quite a special moment when Sanjay played the super hit song Chitthi Aayi Hai from his own film Naam.

On Thursday morning, by 8.30 the actor completed all the paperwork and stepped out of the jail at last. We followed his trail till the time of going to press. Here are a few shots of Sanju baba’s halts through the day.
