Raees vs Kaabil: Did Hrithik Roshan just take a dig at Shah Rukh Khan?

Mumbai: After a lot of anticipation, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ has finally hit the theatres. While Hrithik Roshan is being applauded for his brilliant performance, the film hasn’t quite managed to make it big at the box office.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ received mixed reviews from the audience yet it managed to have a splendid opening at the box office. While both the actors left no stone unturned while promoting their respective films, we witnessed Shah Rukh Khan going an extra mile with the promotions as he took the train from Mumbai to Delhi.

After the opening box office numbers were declared, Rakesh Roshan expressed his sadness over how exhibitors broke their promise made to him of allotting 50-50 percentage of screen sharing for both the films by giving ‘Raees’ 60 percent of the screens instead.

Now, ‘Raees’ lead actor Hrithik Roshan himself has broken his silence on the issue. While talking to a daily, Hrithik took a subtle shot at Shah Rukh Khan by saying, “If needed I will go to every small town in India to promote my next film.”
