Neelima Azeem is a proud mother. This time, however, it is her younger son and Shahid’s younger brother Ishaan that is making her swell with pride. The young actor will soon make his debut in a film directed by renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi. “Nothing could be bigger and better than this. By bigger I don’t mean in terms of commercial aspect, but in terms of the artistic value. I think he is in great hands and he would be moulded by a great film maker like Majid saab. He has a great role so we are praying for him to meet the challenges and come out shining. As a mother, what more could I have asked for? I am in a great place,” she said.
A bigger moment for the former actress however, will be when both her sons share screen space. “That would be a dream project. I am sure it’s a little far, but you never know. One can never say these things. But it’s my dream to see Shahid and Ishaan together on screen. They would create magic. There may be no other pair of dancers like that,” she added.
