Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gives her nod for the clash with Salman Khan

Till date, it was believed that the Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Salman Khan clash was a decision taken by Prernaa Arora and actor Anil Kapoor. The Aishwarya-Anil Kapoor starrer Fanney Khan will take on Salman’s Race 3 during Id next year. Sources reveal that Aishwarya was very much in the loop and it happened with her consent.

Prernaa confirms the same. “Of course. Aishwarya is the lead actress; she was in the know when we wanted to release the film. The date has been finalised with her consent,” says Prerna about the release date.

Interestingly, Aishwarya is doing one more film for Prernaa, which will be directed by Siddharth Anand. We are also being told by sources in the trade that the film is a take off on Satyen Bose’s film Raat Aur Din. Nargis Dutt essayed a character with a multiple personality disorder in a National Award-winning role opposite Feroz Khan and Pradeep Kumar. The film released 50 years ago in 1967 and two men will be cast opposite Aishwarya in the movie.
