Alia Bhatt seeks privacy from prying eyes, turns her Instagram account private

Mumbai: Being a celebrity means one is constantly being watched, scrutinized and observed by many. There’s nothing much left in a celebrity’s personal life to be called ‘personal’ as everything gets speculated, questioned and doubted upon by the media.

But just like us, even our celebrities’ need some personal space and prefer to keep things a little to themselves. Maybe a search for some personal space is what prompted Alia Bhatt to turn her very public Instagram account which has over 11 million followers into a private one.

Thanks to social media, the trade of getting information has not only become a lot easier but one sided to a point. So far, we have seen Alia’s numerous Instagram pictures and selfies make headlines and become a talking topic on the B-Town.

At times, her posts also led to a lot of unwanted speculations. Maybe to keep things in check, Alia turned her account private. Now in order to have access to what she shares, one will have to request to follow her, which the actress will approve according to her preference.

However, Alia hasn’t yet spoken on the matter or revealed the reason behind her this sudden move.
