After being given a clean chit by Aamir Khan that he is innocent till proven guilty, Subhash Kapoor, who has started shooting for his Mayawati-inspired film called Madam Chief Minister in rural Maharashtra, is set to get back to one of his pet projects.
Kapoor, who has made Jolly LLB with Arshad Warsi and Jolly LLB 2 with Akshay Kumar, has the script of his third part ready. Kapoor was to work with Akshay in the Gulshan Kumar biopic Mogul, but Akshay quit the film. Aamir took his place and he later left the film too, only to announce that he was back and Subhash should get back to work. He will also start work on Jolly LLB with Akshay and Arshad.
“It is a script which has two lawyers and it will be Jolly vs Jolly in Jolly LLB 3. While Boman Irani played opposing lawyers to Arshad and Akshay, respectively, it is billed as a clash of the Jollys in the third part,” says a source.
Despite the first part being a hit, Arshad was made to sit at home for the second part and Akshay stepped in. Arshad, who had no qualms sitting out in favour of a bigger star, will be thankful that he is back in the series now.
